The sweet sounds of Africa fill Grigg Gallery as the Museum kicks off Memorial Day weekend and the annual St. Louis African Arts Festival. Join us to celebrate the festival with balafon player Balla Kouyaté, widely known as one of the greatest balafon players from the Djeli or Griot traditions in Mali.
Second performance Saturday, May 29, 2010 at 6:30 p.m. at the World’s Fair Pavilion in Forest Park.
